Electric Waves

There's Electromagnetic Radiation in science, it's a stuff we can't see, feel, smell, or hear, but it's shown next to the speakers, or next to the screens.
Electromagnetic Radiation (Research)
Electromagnetic radiation (EM radiation or EMR) is a form of energy emitted and absorbed by charged particles. Which exhibits wave-like behavior as it travels through space. EMR has both electric magnetic field components, which stand in a fixed ratio of intensity to each other, which oscillate in phase perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the direction of energy and wave propagation. In vacuum, electromagnetic radiation propagates at a characteristic speed, the speed of light. (Wikipedia)

I recorded the electric waves sound through the speakers, I recorded with my cellphone, cellphones usually send electric waves to make calls or receive calls, or either message and use internet.
While it's recording, I open a web page on my phone, so it sends waves and effects the speakers, and the sound will be shown and recorded.
Here's the sound

Here are some designs of electric waves which I got online,

Here's a video of how the electric waves move through the sound I recorded.
SOUND

I used lines to express the sound I recorded on the piece of paper, when the wave comes up, my line goes sharp and pops up which is similar to an electrocardiogram.
                                                          Process 1
Then I thought to make a vector art out of it,
I started with Illustrator software

                                                 Process2
I made circles and lines in Illustrator first, then I used an effect in Illustrator which is called zig-zag, this effect makes the lines sharp which's exactly what I wanted, because the sound is sharp and noisy.
Zig-Zag Effect

Then I did some more research for Electromagnetic Radiation and I got some Diagrams online,
Diagram 1: Electromagnetic Radiation, http://zebu.uoregon.edu/~imamura/122/lecture-2/em.html
Diagram 2: Electromagnetic Radiation,
http://abyss.uoregon.edu/~js/21st_century_science/lectures/lec04.html
According to the diagrams I got online, there are 3 different colors which present 3 different stars: blue-hotstar, green-warm star, and red-cool star. I don't really understand those 2 diagrams cause I've not been studying science but art, so I decided to used blue, green and red colors to finish my final artwork.
 Final Artwork

There is some process
First of all, create a new layer
Select the brush tool, and change the color into blue
Change the option on the top from Normal to Multiply
Brush the blue color on the image
Then select red color for the rest of the image

The last color, green.

This is what I got from the sound of electromagnetic radiation, hope you enjoy it.

Pandora Box Surprise

Pandora Box Surprise is a very interesting task, I loved it when I was doing it.
I got 5 different items in the box, there is a bag of tissues, tattoo stickers, pen, photo and a button.
These are the 5 different items with the box.
Tattoo Sticker

                                                                     A Button
                                                                            A pen
                                                                               A bag of tissues

                                                                      A picture
I used several pieces of tissues, and make them a mini bed, and then brush some PV glue all over it, and put it away for it to dry up itself.
Then I used another piece of tissue, did some painting on this tissue with highlight pens, I drew some lines and different colors of spots.
Then I ripped them into 2 pieces, to make them look like opened curtains.

Then I drew a window with the "outside view" using a black marker.
Obviously, I'm making this box become more like a girly bedroom, I used the tattoo stickers and stuck them on the sides, like posters in girls' bedrooms.
Then I stuck the "curtains" on the sides of the "window, and the button was used to be the sun.
I poked a hole on the top of the box, to make it a pen holder, so this box can be a decoration for your desk and a very useful tool as well.
I cut the top of the box with a cutter, to make it a photo holder, or a card holder, so it can be a unique photo frame, and a card holder.

I didn't wanna waste any materials from the box, so the plastic bag for the tissues is used for good, as our task says, we can add 1 item in it, so I decided to add a small LED light, I chose a blue one, (you will see why I chose blue one soon) and put the light in the plastic bag, and stuck the bag on the top to make it look like a light in this "girly room"
I did the same thing to the rest tissues, gave them patterns.
Then put then in the bottom of the box, as the "carpet" in this "girly room"

Shut the light in the room, and turn on the light in this "girly room" you see a totally different thing! This is a glowing room! (highlight colors glow under the UV light or blue LED light)
This is the half-way "Girly Room"
Now we gotta wait for the mini bed to dry up!
Good morning! The mini bed is dry already! It's solid enough to be a bed, but I want it to be colorful, I also used highlight colors on the mini bed.
Then put the bed into the "girly room" it will also glow in the dark!

There are the pics for the final artwork

On the side of the box, you can put random cards, or some papers.

My Collections

I have got 4 kinds of collections for our group's cabinet of curiosities;
I've got a Kirpan which is a gift from my Punjabi friend, it's basically a Punjabi style dagger that they carry with for self protection;
Image 1, a real Punjabi Kirpan, from Wikipedia.
KIRPAN
The kirpan is a ceremonial sword or dagger carried by Sikhs. It is a religious commandment given by Guru Gobind Singh (the tenth Guru of Sikhism) at the Baisakhi Amrit Sanchar (a holy religious ceremony that formally baptizes a Sikh) in CE 1699, baptized Sikhs (Khalsa) must wear a kirpan at all times.

Image 2, The Kirpan my friend gave to me.

This is my gift from my Punjabi friend, it's a mini one, is usually given to friends as a gift or present. It's designed for girls, the pattern and shape are in a girl way, so I think it's designed for female, and this kirpan isn't sharp at all and it's small; and I don't think this kirpan has a very long history.

The second collection is a gift from my friend too, it's from Saudi Arabia; it's a hand band.
Image 3, The hand band from Saudi Arabia

this is made by different colors of ropes, and two golden metal buckles. It seems like a handmade one, looks like a braid. And the colors of the hand band are dark blue, orange and green; according to the colors of this hand band, it can be wore by either girls or guys. And I think it's a very well-designed hand band, it's simple, sometimes simple things make things perfect.

Image 4, The Jamaican style hand band

The third of my collection is also a hand hand band with green yellow red colors; green yellow and red usually presents Jamaica, peace, hippies and reggae, but this hand band isn't from Jamaica, it's made in China and I bought it in China, I bought it cause it presents my personality that I'm a hippie girl.

The last collection of mine is a badge with a Bob Marley face, and also green yellow and red back ground.
Image 5, Bob Marley from Wikipedia
Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, OM (6 February 1945-11 may 1981) was a Jamaican singer-song writer and musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for the ska, rocksteady and reggae band Bob Marley & The Wailers (1963-1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.

                                           Image 6, Bob Marley badge

Bob Marley used to be my favorite, and he still is. This badge is not from Jamaica either, it's from China and I think it's made in China as well, cause I got it when I was 12 in China, not within a long history either; also this badge is wearable for male and female, cause there are loads people who fancy him, boys, girls, ladies, gentle men, grandpas and grandmas...
