Grid System
A grid subdivides a page vertically horizontally into
margins columns, inter-column spaces, lines of type, and spaces between blocks
of type and images.
We need grid system because these subdivisions from the
basis of a modular and systematic approach to the lay-out, particularly for
multipage documents, making the design process quicker, and ensuring visual consistency
between related pages.
Page lay-out is the part of graphic design that deals in the
arrangement and style treatment of elements (content) on the page.
There’s print base, web base and time base. Print base is
based on the printed objects such as T-shirts, handout, books, magazines and
etc. Web base is based online, such as web layout. Time base is based on time
such as video editing or movies.
The benefits of using a grid are multifarious, ranging from
the psychological to the functional and of course the aesthetic.
I want to create my own grid system, I got inspired on films
and time, such as clock’s splashed patterns, camera films capture the time, the
camera captures a certain moments, thus the films time line is sequent from the
beginning to the end, so films involve time and moments.
This project is talking to anyone all around, it’s a new
experiment to create a new system with being creative and experimental spirit.
This project will make audience see something new and fresh.
We don’t have competitors because we are creating on our own
instead of competing someone else, it’s
about new ideas and new creation.
